Oded Kariti is an American electrical engineer. Born in San Diego, California, he studied electrical engineering at the University of San Diego. Karit also attended the Polytechnic Institute of California.

Kariti left San Diego in 1992 after he received a scholarship to study mathematics at the Polytechnic Institute of California. After completing his undergraduate studies on the subject of virtual reality, Kariti decided to concentrate on researches related to areas that are considered to be of major importance to the human race. These areas are the Internet, energy from clean resources and universe. In 1995 he enrolled in graduate studies of applied physics and materials science at Stanford, where he stayed for five years.
After receiving his master’s degree he turned his attention to experimenting and conducting researches. He was able to open his own lab where he would spend every moment of his time. This distinguished engineer and scientist advanced almost every field of fundamental science and engineering research.
As a scientist, Oded Kariti is also involved in the initiative to keep America at the forefront of science and engineering, by empowering young people in becoming
scientists and engineers. His experimenting work on mechanical properties in material design has shaped new fields of traditional disciplines. He has published many articles in established science magazines, and has co-authored several pieces. Mr. Kariti is also a visiting professor at several universities, and regular speaker at science conventions, congresses or meetings. He has put himself on a mission to raise the science literacy through various projects.
